Wow, well that wasn’t very fun. Our apologies that the forum has been down all week. Here is what happened.
On Monday we noticed the forum was down. Sergio started working on it right away. His normal magic didn’t work and it became obvious that he was either going to have to spend some serious time learning all about this forum software or we could get an expert in and get it solved.
We immediately started looking for an expert. It was more difficult than expected to find someone who has experience with this forum software and also has experience installing/fixing it on digital ocean, our hosting company.
After two failed attempts that spanned Monday thru Thursday and one day of panic when we thought one of the consultants had accidentally deleted the backup of the forum posts we finally got a great consultant to help us out and he was able to make the fix early this morning.
